  • Hafaza (aka Hafza) In Islamic mythology, a type of Angel somewhat comparable to the Christian concept of a Guardian Angel. Each person is assigned with four Hafazas, two of which keep watch during the day and two during the night. They help the soul fight attacks from Shaitan and djinn. In their books, the Hafazas keep track of each and every good and bad deed that their person performs. On Qiyamah, they will be used to determine if the person is worthy of admission into Jannah.
